When I pass by my WPA Poster illustration by Andrew Reid that hangs outside my office, I’m reminded that having unbridled passion for what we do gives us a powerful edge when we encounter not-so-smooth sailing. We don’t spend valuable time worrying about problems, we spend our time devising solutions for any challenge thrown our way. Our perseverance, eye for detail, meticulous craftsmanship, 110% effort and street smarts are yours for the asking.

Ed Zahra has been in the advertising and graphic design business since 1971. In 1973, he started Zahra Design Group, and has evolved from a one-person design studio into a full-service design firm. Throughout his career, he has produced a full menu of services: logos, brand identity, brochures, annual reports, newsletters, newspaper and magazine ads, direct mail campaigns, website design, digital marketing strategies, trade show booths, packaging and signage. His work has been recognized in award shows and periodicals, including Communication Arts Magazine, Print Magazine and the AIGA Annual. Ed has been past president and board member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC), member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), past president of the Old East Dallas Renaissance Coalition, board member of the Hollywood/Santa Monica Neighborhood Association, Design District North Neighborhood Association, ICSC, NTCAR and Stemmons Corridor Business Association (SCBA).

Sweet kitty Misty

Kathy Zahra has 30 years of marketing and consulting experience with AT&T. Most recently, she was a consultant for the North Texas division AT&T where she primarily handled projects for voice and data clients. She serves as Account Services Director providing strategic marketing, media relations, copywriting and news releases. She is a member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications and a previous board member of the Hollywood/Santa Monica Neighborhood Association. Ed and Kathy also own two office buildings in the Design District and residential rental property in East Dallas. They are involved in the renovation, management and leasing of these properties as well as the restoration of their 90-year-old Tudor home in Lakewood’s Hollywood Heights which they've owned since 1978.

Sally Matthews has 30 years of advertising and graphic design experience. She started her career by winning the annual Temerlin McClain internship competition after receiving her Bachelors in Advertising Art from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Sally worked at Pierce, DeDitius & Galyean and Adair Greene McCann developing the complete spectrum of collateral items for national and global eyewear and pharmaceutical companies, winning several Addys along the way. Sally has also done project work for Southeastern Toyota Distributors, Lance and Coca-Cola. She is a member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.
