Murals of Terrell "The Approaching Herd" by Charlie Bullock
In today’s business environment, it is more important than ever to separate your brand from the competition. Innovative design can convert the “personality” of your product into an effective marketing tool that relates to your target audience and impacts their buying behavior. Since 1973, we’ve been fortunate to work with clients across the business spectrum, but our expertise in Commercial Real Estate, Economic Development, Technology, Data Centers, Professional Services, Logos/Brand Identity and even Reality TV is testament to our high-octane brand of creative fuel.
Commercial Real Estate
Being an owner/manager of Design District Office Buildings and Lakewood Vintage Homes, Ed Zahra lives and breathes real estate. Having skin in the game gives him a unique insight that only an owner can relate to. ZDG offers creative ideas that attract and retain tenants, enhance curb appeal, ignite marketing materials and websites, establish wayfinding and leasing signage, produce multimedia broker/tenant presentations and events.
Economic Development
Flashback to 2004 when we started collaborating with Terrell, Texas to help them level the playing field with the big boys. Their EDC needed new marketing to convince companies/retailers that it made sense to move East of Dallas, where there’s plenty of Room to Boom. When Buc-ee’s and The Crossroads of Terrell took off, Boom it did. We’ve also been part of the journey of growth for Allen, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Farmers Branch, Forney, Heath, Kaufman, Little Elm, Rockwall, Sachse, Seagoville and Sunnyvale EDCs.
Sensor Technology
When Texas Instruments decided semiconductors that could make electric from light didn't have much of a future, they sold the fledging unit to the engineers that developed this new technology. Texas Advanced Optoelectronic Solutions (TAOS) was born and ZDG developed the full spectrum of marketing collateral until they were purchased by ams AG, Austria. We're their go-to creative resource for special projects as well as the design, fabrication, supervision of trade show booth I&D/logistics for all U.S. Conferences.
Data Centers
With the explosion of enterprise data, challenges such as insufficient capacity, soaring capital expenditures, lack of real estate/power/cooling/security/compliance expertise and need for speed to market, users need data centers with mission-critical connectivity capabilities. H5 COLO, located in Park Central at LBJ Freeway and Central Expressway, is one of the most established colocation providers meeting this demand. Zahra Design Group has worked with H5 COLO for over a decade marketing their High-Touch, Customizable Data Center, Colocation, Lab and Office Space, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Services.
Professional Services
Who would have guessed that when I designed a capabilities brochure in 1975 for two entrepreneurs, who were also my first clients, I would still be involved in Huitt-Zollars’ brand direction 45 years later as they grew to over 500+ employees and 17 offices? Whether it’s a logo, brochure, new business proposal, office signage, website, brand identity guide, 40th anniversary event planning or everyday business cards - they know without a doubt Zahra Design Group always delivers. On time. Every time.

Monkey Business
When one of my clients decided to sell his printing business and start a hot rod garage, he was hell bent on being more popular than Jesse James and Orange County Choppers. After winning back-to-back Cannonball and Gumball 3000 races, Richard Rawlings hit the big time with his own Discovery Channel TV show Fast N’ Loud - and Gas Monkey Garage was born. We established brand standards and designed logos for the Garage, the Bar & Grill, Socialized Monkey, Gas Monkey Foundation, T-Shirts, Decals, Race Car Wraps and Energy Drinks Packaging. It’s the kind of high-profile creative that shows you we don’t monkey around.
Logos / Brand Identity
A logo can be described as the face of a company. It is often said that customers form an opinion about a company within seconds. A well-designed logo makes a strong first impression and separates you from the competition. A logo is much more than just an image; it is a point of recognition for customers and the foundation of your brand identity. It's worth more than a thousand words and fosters brand loyalty by communicating your business is professional, trustworthy, and provides quality goods or services. Can we design one for you?
